Training: Sealing CORIs and Appealing Housing Authority Denials

This training - to be held on Zoom - will be led by Community Legal Aid Attorneys Nina Harrison and Jane Edmonstone. Part 1 will address CORI records, including what records can be sealed and how to seal them, and Part 2 will talk about what to do if a subsidized housing application is denied, and how to prepare an appeal.  Please register here.

Training: Enhancing Our Work with LGBTQ+ Individuals in Housing Crisis

This training will provide a framework to support providers, community organizers and agency representatives working with community members who identify as LGBTQ+ during the pandemic and beyond.  It will offer a primer on creating inclusive and affirming environments for LGBTQ+ individuals, utilizing national resources and lived experience of community members. The trainer, James Shultis (they/them pronouns), is a community educator and advocate, specializing in LGBTQ+ trainings and education. Please register here.
