Exciting news: The MA Department of Mental Health just released its Request for Responses for a new Safe Havens program in Western Massachusetts, specifically in Hampden County. Safe Havens offers 24/7 supervised and supportive transitional housing for individuals with multiple disabilities who are experiencing chronic homelessness who are not able to utilize traditional shelters. It is a proven model that saves and transforms lives, and reduces health care and other public health costs.
