HUD has proposed new rules that would cause great harm to public and subsidized housing tenants across our region, state and country.

From denying mixed-status families the ability to live together, to imposing stringent work requirements and time limits (elderly included), these proposals must be stopped.

See the National Low Income Housing Coalition’s excellent summary slides to learn more about what’s at stake.

We have time to act (late April deadlines to comment).  Check out this  Keeping Families Together Action Page on the Mixed-Status Rule.  Sign-on Letter HERE (by 4/20).

CHAPA is also providing us with its  Response Resource Guide.

We will offer more updates and action information on this critical issue. Let’s get connected and ready to push back.
