The Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities (EOHLC) has issued this Request for Information from municipalities and homelessness service providers to “inform winter shelter planning, budget development, and the design of future procurements for winter emergency shelter capacity.”

EOHLC also states: “Municipalities and providers are encouraged to develop collaborative relationships where appropriate to support coordinated planning and strengthen preparedness for winter emergency shelter capacity. Respondents may answer any or all of the questions.”

A listening session that took place on August 19 is recorded here: Winter Bed RFI Listening Session.

Click this link to access the Power Point Slides from the listening session.

Written responses are due by 5:00 pm on August 31st by sending an e-mail to EOHLCindividualshelter@mass.gov.

Let’s be sure to maximize this opportunity to relay our region’s needs. The Network will also continue to advocate to ensure adequate funds are allocated – stay tuned for opportunities to add your voice.
