Please read below from Homes for All MA Coalition (of which the Network is a part) on why we need to keep pushing now!

ACTION ALERT: Call and email MA legislators! Thousands of MA families facing eviction need the Housing Committee to vote on the Guaranteed Housing Stability bill by this Friday.

THIS IS OUR FINAL PUSH to prevent 20,000+ evictions this fall. We urgently need you to make one last call and/or send one last email. THANKS to all of you that have already taken action – and please follow new the steps below even if you’ve already contacted your legislators about this bill.

Why yet another call to action, and why is it so important to do this today and tomorrow? Through collective action, we’ve made great progress toward winning the Guaranteed Housing Stability bill. BUT the Legislature is about to shut down for several months, and they have heard from a lot of corporate landlords who want them to run out the clock and do nothing to protect us. We need the Housing Committee to approve our bill before the State House closes this Friday, and your calls/emails are the best way to make that happen.

OPTION 1: CONTACT MEMBERS OF THE HOUSING COMMITTEE.

Yours in the struggle to help families keep their homes!
