Use the sample letter here to urge the HOMES Act lead sponsors and House and Senate leadership to amend the bill so that eviction records are automatically sealed for cases that are dismissed, cases tenants win, and no-fault eviction cases. Find additional info on the HOMES website here.
They need to receive A LOT of letters from us as negotiations continue and bills advance. Let’s fill their in-boxes with the fundamental message (and if you want to just copy and send this one line below that works too):
Massachusetts should pass automatic eviction record sealing for cases that are dismissed, cases tenants win, and no-fault eviction cases.
