Tuesday, November 18, 1 pm on protecting families facing homelessness: The Joint Committee on Families, Children and Persons with Disabilities will hear testimony on the Emergency Assistance improvement bill (H.216) that would address the shrinking access to EA and the consequence of families sleeping unsheltered in cars and parks. You can testify in person, virtually or submit written testimony. See details here.
Wednesday, November 19, 11 am on rent control, access to counsel, TOPA and more: The Joint Committee on Housing will hear testimony on a slew of our priority bills, including the local option for rent control, access to counsel, Tenant Opportunity to Purchase Act and more.
