Our region and state’s fair housing organizations face the threat of massive cuts in federal funding. Please sign-on to this letter to our state legislative leaders to allocate $4 million to the Fair Housing Trust Fund in order to protect this vital work. The deadline is April 15, end of day.
Threatened programs in our region include the Massachusetts Fair Housing Center based in Holyoke and Community Legal Aid’s Fair Housing Project, both of which are part of the Fair Housing Alliance of Massachusetts, and together provide the front line of defense against housing discrimination in our region.
