Dear Network Partners:

I am writing to invite you to a meeting to report back on and discuss our Education and Workforce Action Plan for Homeless Families.  As you may recall, many of you attended “listening sessions” that contributed to the making of this plan.  UMass Donahue Institute, our consultant on this project, compiled your feedback, and in combination with additional research and interviews, produced the plan, which you can obtain by clicking here.  We would like to bring it to you with a focused conversation about how we can begin to turn this plan into action.  Please join us on:

Thursday, June 21
10:00 – 11:30 am
Career Point

850 High Street, Holyoke

We are mindful that actual implementation will need to take place on a sub-regional or county level.  At the same time, at this initial stage, we wanted to have the benefit of a cross-county conversation to share concrete models that are currently working in our region and may offer excellent starting points for additional efforts across all counties.

A more detailed agenda will follow, but for now, we would love for you to save the date.  Please let me know if you can make it.

Thanks and I look forward to talking more.

Best,
Pamela
