Celebrate the passage of a pilot to address and remove the negative impact of cliff effects for working families across the Commonwealth. Led by Springfield WORKS and the Western Mass Economic Development Council, in partnership with the Department of Transitional Assistance, this pilot is a significant step in supporting economic mobility for hard working Massachusetts families. The Western Mass Delegation, co-sponsors from across the Commonwealth, and 100+ members of the Economic Pathways Coalition of Massachusetts worked together to advocate for this innovative policy solution to solve economic inequities.
Event will include light refreshments and a brief program to discuss the cliff effect legislation and the important next steps.
