SafeLink Wireless is a government supported program that provides a free cell phone and airtime each month for income-eligible customers. Customers must be recipients of a state or federal assistance program for low-income people (public housing, foods stamps, etc.) OR must be at or below 135% of poverty. Customers must have an address to have the phone sent to–post office boxes are not allowed.
