Please Come:  A Public Forum for The Vote NO on 2 Campaign

in North Amherst

  • An opportunity to ask questions about Ballot Question #2
  • Learn about housing developments in Amherst and Hampshire County that have used the Chapter 40B affordable housing law.  Joanne Campbell, director of Valley Community Development Corporation and Felicity Hardee, attorney with Bulkley, Richardson & Gelinas will talk about specific development projects.
  • Support the Vote ‘NO” on 2 Campaign

Directions:  From Route 116, turn east (right turn if you are heading North) on Meadow Street and travel .4 miles to the center of North Amherst. Turn left onto Montague Road (Route 63) and travel north .5 miles. Turn right on Pulpit Hill Road.  In .2 miles, turn left into the co-housing community entrance.  If you pass Mill Street on your right, you have gone too far.  Please park along the driveway on the left side.

If you are unable to attend the Forum but want to help out with the campaign, contact Andrew Baker to do one or more of the following:

a)      request a “Vote NO on 2” lawn sign

b)      write a letter to the editor

c)      send a “Dear Friend” email to your friends and colleagues

d)      hold a NO on 2 sign at the polls on election day (November 2)
