Scholarship Applications Now Available – Please Spread the Word!
Springfield Partners for Community Action is pleased to announce the availability of 10 scholarships of $1,000 each. These scholarships are available to both adult learners and to those graduating high school this spring.
The deadline to apply is May 20, 2011 at 4 p.m. Scholarships will be distributed at an awards breakfast on June 10, 2011; winners must be at the breakfast to receive an award.
Applicants must be Springfield residents and meet income guidelines (200% of FPL). Applicants may download the application at www.springfieldpartnersinc.com or pick one up at Springfield Partners reception desk, 721 State St., 2nd Floor, Springfield.
Since 2003, Springfield Partners has awarded 143 scholarships to low-income Springfield residents seeking economic self-sufficiency through higher education.
