Direct Supervisor: Director, Catholic Charities
General Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage client appointments, intake, and eligibility.
• Provide and oversee case management for individuals and families needing a variety of
social services assistance, referral, and advocacy.
• Oversee day-to-day supervision for the Homecoming Project Coordinator.
• General supervision of social service case workers and interns.
• Emergency disaster relief and recovery.
• Participate in creating and implementing innovative programs to meet growing social
service needs.
• Maintain records in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
• Participate in workshops, seminars and other work related meetings and committee
memberships as necessary.
• Does related work as required.
Qualifications:
Education: Minimum – Bachelor in Social Work
Experience:
• Preferred experience in homeless prevention and rehousing, case management and
supervision
• Good people skills and working knowledge of programs in greater Springfield.
• Experience in Microsoft Office and adept at learning government computer data tracking
systems.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.
