Supportive Services for Veteran Families(SSVF): New Funds AvailableThrough the federal CARES Act, Soldier On has received additional SSVF funding, which is available now under expanded eligibility criteria and for broader use due to the pandemic. Assistance includes: temporary rental assistance; security deposit assistance, utility assistance and temporary emergency hotel/motel assistance.
If you know of a veteran in need of assistance, please refer to or call Soldier On’s 24-hour toll-free hotline 1-866-406-8449. (Reminder: Some veterans do not define themselves as veterans despite meeting the definition. The best inquiry: “have you ever served in the military?” to ascertain status).
