Protect an Accurate 2030 Census
Add your organization’s name to this sign-on letter urging the Department of Commerce to withdraw the proposed rule and protect an accurate, inclusive 2030 Census.
The proposed changes to the 2030 Census threaten fair representation, federal housing resources, and the ability to understand and address housing needs across the country. It would exclude certain noncitizens from the population count used for congressional apportionment, introduce new barriers to accurately determining where people live, and prohibit the collection of race, ethnicity, and sexual orientation data on the decennial Census.
