Increased Emergency Shelter Grant Funds Expected for Prevention & Rapid Re-House

State Deficit in Shelter Account; DTA Proposes Restrictions on Eligibility

DTA projects that there will be a $3.36 million budget deficit in the EA account, which funds family shelter.  As a means to address the deficit, DTA has proposed restrictions on eligibility. Legal Services organizations have put together a legislative fact sheet and appeal for advocacy on the situation.

Results of Conference Call on 2/4/09 with ICHH Director

Training: Assisting People Who Are Homeless With SSI/SSDI Applications
