First,  I wanted to officially introduce myself to all of you blog readers.  I am the regional coordinator for the Western Mass Network to End Homelessness and I will be facilitating the flow and exchange of information on this blog.  Please don’t hesitate to contact me with ideas or suggestions; I would love to hear from you.  My email is [email protected] and phone is 413-219-5658.

Now for the business at hand:

Family Services Committee:  Tuesday, Sepember 8, 1-3 pm, DTA Office, 3rd floor, 100 Front Street, Holyoke. At this newly regular monthly meeting (2nd Tuesday of the month, same time and place), providers serving homeless families from across the region will gather to exchange challenges and help find solutions together.  Please email Pamela Schwartz at [email protected] with agenda items or thoughts on next week’s meeting.

Network building meeting: Wednesday, September 9, 2-5 pm, Haskell Building, DMH, Northampton.  This meeting will be an important opportunity to gain clarity on our Network structure, including the constitution of the Leadership Council, its working committees and its Steering Committee.  Please join us – and let Pamela know if you plan to attend – and come with the background of the Network in tow since we will get straight to the work of this meeting’s agenda.  You can find background information  here.
