The City of Springfield administers HUD’s Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) for the three-county area of Hampden, Hampshire and Franklin. HOPWA supports housing and supportive services for persons lining with HIV/AIDS and their families.
The City has released a Request for Proposals for the HOPWA program. Applications packets are available at the Springfield Office of Community Development, 36 Court St., Springfield. Proposals are due by 12:00 noon on February 20, 2009.
