The great news is that the Network’s event “Ending Homelessness in Western Massachusetts:  A Progress Report” on Monday, April 26,  at 9:30 am at the Kittredge Center at Holyoke Community College is FULL.  We have stretched past the seating limit of 170 to 190 and we can stretch no more.  We have state senators, representatives, mayors, leaders from the business, faith and academic communties, private funders, housing developers, housing advocates and state agency leaders, people who have worked decades on this issue and so many who are newly arriving.  We are thrilled.

The bad news, of course, is that we have to turn away a single person who wants to be there.   How intolerable!  But know that we will be posting all of the materials from the event, from the video presented to the hand-outs, on the blog and eventually a video fo the entire gathering will be there, too.  And know that next year we will be sure there is a room that holds many more.  I have no doubt we will need it.

Meanwhile, for those attending, please note that doors open at 9 am for refreshmentswe will be starting the program promptly at 9:30 am.  We have a short but chock-full program and we want to make the best use of every minute of your time.

See you there or see you later  – we are in this together wherever you will be.
