Working Together: Facing Challenges and Seizing Opportunities
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 13th 9:00 – 10:30 AM
Via Zoom (Register here

How can we work together as service providers and legislators to face old and new challenges? What opportunities can we seize in this time of upheaval?

Together, service providers and legislators have a lot of work to do. Along with the COVID-19 pandemic and its economic devastation, we must meet the challenges of the long-term crises of poverty, white supremacy and other forms of injustice, homelessness, food insecurity, and the digital divide, to name just a few. And, in this time of rapid change, we must identify and seize unexpected opportunities to help everyone in our community thrive.

We’ll hear stories of the intertwined issues facing our struggling neighbors and learn about efforts to ease their struggles. We’ll each leave the meeting with a greater understanding of our respective roles and concrete actions we can take to help our community.
